Annual lectures are organised in memory of Prof. Elamkulam Kunjan Pillai and Sri. Puthuppally Raghavan. Sri. Puthuppally Raghavan’s family has instituted an endowment for the same, and Prof. Elamkulam Kunjan Pillai memorial lecture is supported by KCHR. 

          Monthly colloquiums are organised on various themes related to social science research. It is conceived as a platform to discuss the latest trends and new findings in social sciences.
